We are committed to protecting the information we collect from you, which we use to enhance your experience of using the Boots Opticians contact lens reward scheme website and to provide you with the services you request from us. This website uses SSL encryption technology, which is the industry standard. All your information is encrypted so it cannot be read or copied. When logging into the site you will enter a secure area of the site, which is shown by the presence of a padlock symbol in the area around your browser. I have a backlog of lenses, can I postpone my delivery?

One of the benefits of the contact lens reward scheme is that you can take payment and delivery holidays. Simply call 0345 603 2020 who will discuss the options and when you would like to start receiving your contact lenses again in the future

What is the waiting time for an additional order?

The waiting time for an additional order depends on stock availability and the type of lens you wear. Generally, you should receive your despatch within 3 - 5 working days of placing your order. However for some lens types, such as torics or multifocals, these can take a little longer at between 7 - 10 working days. You can of course check the status of your order within the My deliveries section of the website

Am I limited to how many I can order?

The number of contact lenses you are able to order is linked to when you next need to have a contact lens check. If you have any problems ordering additional contact lenses please call our customer services team on 0345 603 2020 who will be happy to help

Can I order different lenses and solutions to those stated on my account?

You will only be able to order contact lenses and solutions that are registered to your account. If you would like different contact lenses than those offered please contact your local practice who will explain the process to be able to discuss different lens or solution options

Can I track my delivery?

You can review the status of your order within My deliveries. If you have supplied a valid email address, you will receive an automated email confirming when your delivery has been dispatched

Can I amend an order after it has been placed?

No. Once your order has been authorised and accepted, it is not possible to amend it. If you have any issues however, please contact customer services on 0345 603 2020 who will try to assist you with your query

Can I place an order if my contact lens check is overdue?

No, once your contact lens check is overdue we are not able to process any additional orders

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your regular orders by direct debit. To make any ad-hoc or additional payments, you can pay online by credit or debit card

Can I pay for a missed Direct Debit?

Right now, It is not possible to make a missed payment online, however you can pay by credit or debit card by contacting our customer services team on 0345 603 202 who will be happy to help you

How much notice is required to take a payment holiday?

You must contact customer services on 0345 603 2020 or by email at contactlenses@boots-opticians.co.uk at least two working days prior to your next scheduled payment date. If you are unsure of when your next payment is due, you can look online within the My payments section of the website

How long can I take a payment holiday for?

You are able to have a holiday of up to 6 months within any 12 month period

Do I need to stop the Direct Debit at the bank during the payment holiday?

No, there is no need to. No direct debits will be requested until the agreed date to restart. Where requested, you will receive an email or letter to confirm when the payments are due to start again

How do I terminate a payment holiday?

All payment holidays will automatically end at the agreed time. Where requested, you will receive an email or letter to confirm when the payments are due to start again. Can I return and be refunded for the price of products if I no longer require them?

If you need a new lens or solution type, or your prescription changes during the term of your Boots Opticians contact lens reward scheme membership, your optician may advise of an immediate requirement to change. If so,we will update your new product requirements to take effect immediately, and where appropriate, arrange for you to return unused products and adjust your payments accordingly. Can I still earn Advantage Card Points as part of the contact lens reward scheme?

Yes, you'll collect 1 point for every £1 you spend on your Boots Opticians contact lens reward scheme. We can add points on to your Advantage Card when you visit the practice to collect your lenses, or come in for your contact lens appointment or eye exam. If you have selected Home Delivery on your plan your Advantage card points will be automatically uploaded on to your Advantage Card, 5 days after the delivery of your lenses. We will not exchange Advantage points for cash. Advantage Card points cannot be spent in Boots Opticians, third party sites including Treat Street, Boots Hearingcare, prescription items, infants milks (upto 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, postage stamps, mobile phone top-up cards, Travel services and Boots insurance. Normal Advantage Card terms and conditions apply * please ask in store for full terms and conditions

How do I obtain 10% discount?

To receive 10% off Boots branded products, you will need to be a member of the Boots Opticians contact lens reward scheme and hold a permanent Advantage Card (application forms are in store or online at boots.com) You will need to activate your 10% offer voucher in a Boots the Chemist store. Once your voucher is activated you must present your permanent Advantage Card each time you shop to receive the 10% discount. The discount will not be awarded retrospectively. 10% offer excludes Boots Branded products from Boots Opticians, prescription items, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, insurance, travel money, and travel services. This offer is open to UK residents. Not available on boots.com. To use in store, simply present the activation voucher (taken from your Welcome Letter) and your permanent Advantage Card together with your purchase of Boots own brand product(s) at the till in store. The offer will then be 'activated' onto the chip in your Advantage Card in order for you to use this offer every time you shop. Normal Advantage Card terms and conditions apply.
